Playroom Dreams

I was in the Chicago area a couple weekends ago for a birthday party for my grandfather. My mom and I drove in a little early so we could hit up The Land of Nod Outlet.

It was well worth the stop. I ended up with this adorable play table for Ana:

I had never been to that outlet before this visit. I must say, you really need to inspect everything you buy - most of the tables and chairs have deep scratches or cracks. I guess I got lucky - this table was PERFECT!!! (the saleslady said they had just gotten it in!)

You can still get it at The Land of Nod store...

but it will cost about $100 more than what I paid at the outlet. Aren't those chairs darling though - they had a couple at the outlet, but they were way too damaged for me.

I now can't wait to put together a playroom for Ana. It will have to wait until our next home though - right now there's just no room! Still, I've already found some inspiration:

I know, I'm totally showing the fact that I'm a first time mother.... If I remember correctly from when I was younger, playrooms look more like this:

But it's still fun to dream...
