A Day at Notre Dame

We went to the Grotto today at the University of Notre Dame. It is one of my favorite places. I grew up in this area, so I have always loved Notre Dame. I've found the Grotto to be a special place for prayer and inspiration.

We lit our candle today for my mom who needs some extra prayers right now.

We also took some time to feed the ducks at the pond across from the Grotto. Gosh, I can remember doing this for as long as I can remember! These ducks - who don't really look like babies anymore - were still following their mama around!! It was really cute. It was also Ana's first duck experience!
