It's a day of birthdays in our home!! Happy Birthday to my baby and my hubby!

One year ago today we were in the hospital with a brand new baby.

I started working on pom-poms to hang at baby's first birthday party. After all, who doesn't need a pom pom at her birthday?! I followed the steps from Martha Stewart Weddings found here... hoping for this:

A Day at Notre Dame

We went to the Grotto today at the University of Notre Dame. It is one of my favorite places. I grew up in this area, so I have always loved Notre Dame. I've found the Grotto to be a special place for prayer and inspiration.

We lit our candle today for my mom who needs some extra prayers right now.

We also took some time to feed the ducks at the pond across from the Grotto. Gosh, I can remember doing this for as long as I can remember! These ducks - who don't really look like babies anymore - were still following their mama around!! It was really cute. It was also Ana's first duck experience!

Favorite Shirt

I bought it from Boden a couple weeks ago when they had 25% off plus free shipping. It was my first purchase from Boden. Anyway, I just LOVE this shirt! It's super soft and comfy and a great shirt to throw on when you're running around during the day.

In fact, I like it so much that I just got it in this color too!
