Mirror Mirror

My mom had this mirror hanging in her foyer, which really surprised me because it's so not her style.

Well, the last time I was home I convinced her to let me take it... and transform it. (She just doesn't know about the "transform" part.)

I was able to take out the mirror in the back and then just gave the frame a couple coats of white glossy paint using this:

This paint gave great coverage and the end result feels really nice and smooth. I didn't both priming or sanding.

I really wanted to go bold with the color, but just couldn't figure out where to put a bold color right now in our house. Honestly though, this was so easy to paint, I figure I can change up the color when we move... one of these days... hopefully soon.
