Did you hear about the craziness that is was the Missoni line at Target? I say "was" because most things are sold out. In fact, I heard Target's website actually crashed several times because of it!

I just saw on CNBC that more than 30,000 items from the line are now being sold on Ebay for way more than they were at Target... like hundreds of dollars more!!

I don't get it.

BUT I did get these:

...from Zara. I had been obsessing over them (here), but couldn't get baby's size. Well, after checking Zara's website everyday, today they had one pair in a size I think will work!!! The good news is Zara has free shipping on standard delivery. (Love that!) It makes me feel better if the size doesn't work out and I have to return them.

Now I'll have to celebrate.... with one of these:

Just kidding, but I do love this cake. Courtney at A Thoughtful Place made this to celebrate the first day of school. What a great idea!! I might have to start something like this when my little one heads off on her first day. (gotta keep busy to stop my crying :)

Speaking of making things yourself - Would you believe the chevron design on these curtains was painted on using regular latex paint?!

It's true! Olivia at Owen's Olivia made them herself here. AMAZING!

I can't remember where I found this picture - it's been sitting in my inspiration folder for quite some time now. I must say, when I think of my dream house - this is the living room.
